Solem Ranch Basecamp is a family-owned 43-acre ranch in Harding County, being thoughtfully developed into a private basecamp for camping, hunting, overlanding, and solitude, with the lodging shaped around what guests want most. Our focus is privacy, wide-open views, and authentic western hospitality, not crowded campgrounds.

We are shaping the next phase of Solem Ranch, and we want your voice in it. Here are three ways you could stay with us down the road. Picture each one, then tell us which you would choose.

Primitive Campsite

Just you, your gear, and the horizon.

A cleared, level site on open ranch land with room to pitch a tent and build your basecamp. No crowds, no light pollution, only the sound of the grassland and a sky thick with stars. Clean portable restrooms on-site, and space enough that your nearest neighbor is the tree line. Bring everything you need, and leave the rest of the world behind.

Two-Bedroom Mobile Homes

A real bed at the edge of the wild.

A handful of private, climate-controlled two-bedroom homes on the property, each with full beds, a kitchen, and a bathroom of its own. The prairie starts at your door; the comfort starts inside it. Step out at dawn to frost on the grass, step back in at night to a warm room and a hot meal. The right call for families, cold-weather hunts, or anyone who wants the land by day without giving up the comforts by night.

The Hunting Lodge

Our flagship stay: a single grand lodge with 8 to 10 bedrooms, a full kitchen, generous gathering space, and an on-site game-dressing and processing area built for the work that follows a good day afield. Room enough for the whole party under one roof. Come in from the hunt, hang your game, cook a real meal, and let the stories run long into the night. When the season matters, this is where it is headquartered.
